curl

Below are example GET and POST requests using curl.

Request

GET

curl "https://api.srating.io/v1/game/getGames?start_date=2023-04-03&organization_id=f1c37c98-3b4c-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8&division_id=bf602dc4-3b4a-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_API_KEY"

Quote the URL — it has & in it, and an unquoted & will background the command in most shells.

POST

curl "https://api.srating.io/v1" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "class": "game",
    "function": "getGames",
    "arguments": {
      "organization_id": "f1c37c98-3b4c-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8",
      "division_id": "bf602dc4-3b4a-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8",
      "start_date": "2023-04-03"
    }
  }'

Checking for errors

A failed request still comes back as 200 with an error key in the body, so check the body rather than the status code. See Errors.

curl -s "https://api.srating.io/v1/game/getGames?start_date=2023-04-03&organization_id=f1c37c98-3b4c-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8&division_id=bf602dc4-3b4a-11ef-94bc-2a93761010b8" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  | jq 'if .error then "error: \(.error)" else "\(length) games" end'

To see how much usage a request cost, include the response headers with -i or -D - and look for x-request-usage — see Headers.
